My DIY List...
well, I am very new to all of this, but I'm going to try & make as many things as I can to save money since we are paying for the majority of the wedding ourselves..
- Monogram (done! done by knottie heathermckelvey)
- Will you be my bridesmaid cards (done!)
- Mrs. Rhinestone Hoodie (supplies ordered) - made one for my fabulous friend Amy!!
- Save the Dates
- Picture Frame cardbox
- Memory candles
- Table numbers
- Escort Cards
- Picture Uploading cards
- Monogram cake topper
- Monogram Aisle Runner
- Programs
- Invites
- maybe improved centerpieces
Pink rhinestones on the back of the hoodie, I had so much fun making it! I can't wait to make mine & for friends. If you're a knottie looking for one, email me [email protected] and I can definately make one for you!
Will You be my Bridesmaid? Cards & Gift....
I made the cards from scrach & am so proud of my first real DIY project!
I bought plain white cardstock & Navy Blue cardstock on sale at AC Moore, along with pink velum paper and polka dot paper to line envelopes with. I bought the bridal stickers and flower stickers from Target in the scrapbooking section. I bought the plain envelopes from michaels in a 10 pack, along with a paper cutter & boning tool.
I cut the the velum in a strip to wrap around the front & back of the card, and attached it with a glue stick. I placed the stickers on top. For the inside, I cute a piece of blue cardstock to be slightly smaller than the card. I cut out pictures of me with each of my girls & printed & cut a small bridesmaid poem to fit. I finished it off with some handwriting and flowers!
